The Point system allows you to earn points by interactivly participating on the site. Points can then be used in the 'store' to purchase items for use on the site.
For example: if you post regularly you will receive points. You can then use those points to use a custom avatar, change your title etc.
Be sure to check out the store to see what you can use your points for.
